Never Have I Ever

...Stood in line for 7.5 hours for anything...Except for an iPhone 3G.  2.5 hours last night and 5 hours today.

It just so happens that my phone decided to die yesterday.  The warranty people called it physical damage and therefore not covered under warranty and wanted to charge me $210 for a refurbed replacement.  This was after driving to two AT&T locations to deal with the problem.  Forget that!

So, there I was, phone-less all day.

Sue had left to take Kayla shopping and when they got home Kayla let me know that Sue had tried very hard to acquire an iPhone for me.  She wanted to surprise me.  I love her.  This astounded me because I had been told that I would "never own an iPhone!"  I was pretty excited.  Even though Sue was unsuccessful with a cellular location, I called the Apple store at the mall and they informed me that there were plenty.  Off I went to stand in line for 2.5 hours until I found out that there would be an account problem.  I left and went back today better prepared.  I was in the frame of mind that this would be no problem now that the excitement of launch day was over.  Well, 5 hours later I got the prize.

Moral of the story,...  I have a new number due to some account changes, etc.  Let me know if you need it.

Have a great weekend!

Mountain View Amphitheater

Grandma, Ava, and I went over to the amphitheater last night.  DSLR cameras were off limits and I had no idea how to set mother's camera to manual in total darkness so all firework shots are blurry.  Anyway, we had a great time.  Ava stayed up way past her bedtime to enjoy her first fireworks show.  It was a really good one accompanied by music from the San Francisco Symphony.  Hope everyone had a great 4th.
