Apple Hill, A little mountain town east of us on Hwy 50 beyond Placerville. Didn't have much time to investigate the history but I do know there are a lot of apples there this time of year. Comments are welcome if you know about this area! The town is also sprinkled with some local wineries of which we made a stop at one called Primus and purchased a couple bottles of port and one bottle of wine. The wine is to complement dinner tonight. It was nice to take a little Saturday drive, get Sue and Ava out of the house, and spend a little bit of time together. It is amazing watching Ava interact in new environments.
